Spanish Honor Society Club

Club Description:  The Spanish Honor Society (Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica) is a club for students who are enrolled in Spanish classes of level three or above. The purpose of the honor society is to recognize the high achievement of high school students in the Spanish language and to promote a continuing interest in Hispanic cultures and studies. The group was established in 1953 in the United States and is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. This organization recognizes students with outstanding abilities in Spanish and provides them with an opportunity to interact, exchange cultures, and participate in community service projects.

Requirements:  GPA 3.0 in academics and conduct, level 3 or above in
Spanish/Pre-IB level 1.
